Single mom for the summer

Does anyone’s spouse work lots of hours in the summer?  My husband works at a campground in New England.  So, of course, summers are very busy!  He was promoted this past spring to the position of Operations Manager, which is wonderful.  I’m ecstatic that the bosses thought this much of him.  He does a wonderful job, too.  Yes, I am biased!  However, we live about 25 minutes away from the campground, and most weekends he is on call.  Well, he’s on-call 24/7, but weekends he has to stay over at the camp.  Our whole family was able to stay in a cabin with him earlier in the season, but we haven’t been able to do that since.  Understandable.  I love that he has this job, but weekends are so hard.  I really don’t like being a single mom.  At all.  Raising my kids alone on weekends is very hard.  They don’t get to see him, and they are sooooo good at pushing my buttons.  And my oldest is special needs.  The only way I can get through this is with Jesus’ help.  Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  He does.  I’m living proof.
